Background

Product designer and vibe coder based in Abu Dhabi, with six years designing digital products across government and agency contexts.

I currently lead design systems at ADEK, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, where I designed and published a multi-framework component library to npm that serves both React and Angular teams. I write the code behind my designs, which means the system I hand to engineers is the system that actually ships.

  • Designed and published the ADEK design system: 30+ components with parallel React and Angular implementations, driven by a single shared token layer and distributed to teams as a versioned npm package.
  • Wrote and shipped 63 documentation pages covering foundations, base components, and application components, so engineers can self-serve without a design review.
  • Led the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing through to high-fidelity mockups, producing a visually cohesive and user-centered product.
  • Built right-to-left and Arabic typography support into the system's foundations, making it usable across the department's full product portfolio.
  • Collaborated with frontend developers to ensure seamless implementation of design elements, and participated in design critiques and cross-functional brainstorming.
